- 發現一無母數迴歸估計量,其具有近似變異數接近於 Cramer-Rao 下限之性質 (陳鄰安)
- 在線性迴歸及聯立方程模型,建立及証明一穩健估計量具有最佳不偏估計量 (BLUE) 之性質 (陳鄰安)
- 發展出具有最佳平均檢定力 (maximal average power) 的檢定方法,解決了 UMP 檢定有時不存在的缺點 (陳鄰安、陳志榮)
- Extend the fundamental Gauss-Markov theorem for nonparametric mixed-effects models (盧鴻興)
- Nonlinear estimator for wavelet shrinkage with generalized cross validation (GCV) (盧鴻興)
- Extend a homogeneous continuous time Markov chain into a several stages nonhomogeneous one (彭南夫)
- Propose an important necessary and sufficient condition for a commonly used non-orthogonal estimating function to be fixed-sample optimal (陳志榮)
- Propose the likelihood inference under the general response transformation model with heteroscedastic errors (陳志榮)

reconstruction,molecular evolution and medical data (盧鴻興) - Study the reconstruction and correction problems in positron emission tomography (PET) with related but incomplete
information by fast iterative methods and statistical analysis (盧鴻興) - 在半競爭風險的架構下,提出半母數的推論方法,用以估計復發時間與死亡時間的相關性 (王維菁)
- 將半競爭風險的資料以 multi-path model 描述之,並提出以無母數的方法估計狀態間的逗留時間 (sojourn time),以及路徑的機率 (path probability) (王維菁)
- 針對 bivariate current status data 的資料,提出半母數的 pseudo-likelihood approach,用以估計相關參數並檢定兩個發病時間是否具獨立性 (王維菁)
- Developed a latent variable model that guarantees identifiability of the two types of covariate effects,and provide
theory and practical methods for selecting the number of underlying variable categories (黃冠華) - Apply generalized estimating equations methodology for analyzing multiple ordinal measurements,and develop graphical
