Goals:

This course is designed to introduce the practice of statistical consulting to participants.  Basic probability, statistics, and computing skills are required.  Interactions with different disciplinarians that come to this course are strongly encouraged.  Examples will be illustrated in classes.  Students will participate in projects that analyze data collected in different areas.  Communication skills, problem formulization, statistical modeling and data analysis are key ingredients in this course.
